cancelled.

Friday Nite Drags
- Back in the 13s with a stock motor! The spare engine
is proving its worth, running consistent 13.9s and even a
13.87. This is a totally stock engine except for the
Crespo stage 4 camshafts! Car Runs Consistent enough
to get us into the Semi-Final, where we lost in a close
race! |

June 2, 2006 PMI -
Friday Nite Drags
- Some minor tuning gets the car down to 13.81.
Our slowest run of the day was 13.86. Very Consistent.
We win First round, but Matt fouls in the second round by
.004, putting the car on the trailer early. |

June 11, 2006
Bandimere/NHRA Sport Compact Nationals
- We switch back to the Pacesetter header, because the
Kamikaze is just plain too big for the stock engine.
Tuning the carbs gets the car down to 13.83. Keep in
mind bandimere is 900 Feet Higher than Pueblo, and we
usually run .1-.2 slower there. The car is
running excellent and consistent. Unfortunate
circumstances keep us from making the call for the ET1
Class, so we entered the car in ET2 (fastest dial allowed
was 14.50.) It's hard to sandbag race, especially that
much. Matt runs 14.509 first round for the win.
Second round is the closest race in ZCspeed history, where
we lost by only .0015 seconds!

Friday Nite Drags
No Changes to the car this week, as we wanted to see
what improvement the small tube pacesetter made over the
Kamikaze. The rain was off and on, and track
temperatures were horribly low. It was hard to keep
the tires from spinning, but even with tire spin, the car consistently ran 13.5, with our
best pass tripping the clocks at 13.525 @ 97.7MPH.
Matt advanced to the semi-final round in the Trophy/Slicks
class, making for a fantastic night of racing overall.
We are very excited about the progress we are making with
this STOCK ZC ENGINE! There's room for more tuning according
to our Innovate LM1, so we're searching for more horsepower
yet. Next week we plan to run 38mm venturis in
the carburetors, to see if we can gain some more air
velocity. Track elevation is 4900 feet above Sea
Level.13.525 with a stock ZC engine? Only at
